Should you Subscribe to Amazon Prime? *

• You like to see as many options as possible when you are shopping
• You like to discover “new” related items when shopping
• You like to price check items before purchasing
• You don’t like to pay for shipping each time you order online ( If you don’t use any other Amazon services, you’d pay $12 for 2-day shipping a month. This is a deal considering other retailers charge anywhere from $5 and up for “standard shipping” of 7-10 days.)
• You like receiving your online order in 2-days or sooner sometimes
• You like to store multiple payment methods/ credit card information with your account and use Amazon Pay whenever available (Woot.com accepts Amazon Pay).
• You want to see your order history conveniently at any time (Refrigerator water filters, microwave filters)
• You like no-hassle returns
• You like Easy drop-off of returns at Kohls and other locations
• You like to subscribe to items you always need (Great for vitamins, pet food,items used daily)
• You like to read reviews before purchasing (This is available on almost every online shop these days but the quantity of reviews doesn’t seem to compare to the number Amazon has accumulated. I like to read the worst review to see if their issue is something I can accept.)
• Have you checked all 9 boxes? Here are even more benefits:
• You like to read as many books as you want from Prime Reading. You can have several checked out at one time.
• You like to get audible narrations of books through the Kindle app. This is like the audio book services like “Audible” however “Alexa/Echo” reads the words and is emotionless.
• Huge selection of videos at Prime Videos – The library is huge. You are bound to find something to watch. They even have international programming available.
• Access to free titles at Audible.com
• Amazon Music – Great for playlists to play on Alexa/Echo
• Prime Gaming
• Amazon Photos – 5 GB of cloud space for photo storage
• Prime Day – Prime Day in July is a great event. They advertise a ton of items but I found unadvertised items are tagged with a “Prime Day” price as well.
• Prime “Try Before you Buy” – This applies to select apparel
